External Incoming Secondment
The Oxford Brookes University, in conjunction with the Oxford Health and the Oxford University Hospital, are looking to appoint two band 6 Nursing Placement Project Facilitators for a period of two years. Applicants should be nurses currently working for an NHS trust.
The posts have been created to support the Oxford Brookes University partner Trusts to implement projects aimed at increasing placement capacity and practice support for student nurses. The postholder will be responsible for implementing projects with the following focus:
- Reinstating and/ or introducing models of student support that enable multiple learners to be supported effectively and efficiently in a range of services across the Trust.
- Education and support for international and newly qualified nurses/ nurse associates to understand nurse education in the UK and the Practice Assessor and Practice Supervisor roles.
The successful employees will be contracted to one of the participating Trusts and will governed by NHS employment contract and benefits. They will be seconded to work with Oxford Brookes University.
