Job description
Upgrading and installing new hardware and software, backing up data, and performing data recovery when necessary. Also, they assist a company in improving computer systems to ensure its network's efficiency.
IT Responsibilities:
· Determine information system requirements through a detailed analysis of existing systems and procedures and by coordinating with key personnel.
· Define system requirements and recommend appropriate hardware and software solutions.
· Present recommended solutions to managers and staff to ensure that they are aware of and support these changes.
· Train manger and staff in any new or modified systems and procedures.
· Support managers and staff in the identification and resolution of any day – to - day operating problems arising from the application of new or modified systems and procedures.
· Maintain an awareness of developments in the computing field to ensure that the company continues to apply the technology most appropriate to its needs.
· Develop and implement an information technology strategy to support the financial and business objectives of the company.
· Develop appropriate computerized information systems to meet the needs of managers and staff.
· Establish and maintain all necessary information technology procedures and ensure that all systems are supported by the necessary documentation and manuals.
· Help to define IT trainings needs and provide training as required ensuring the most effective use of computer systems.
· Identify areas in which the introduction of new technology will improve business performance and assist managers with the implementation of any new systems.
· Develop a program of maintenance and support for all IT systems to ensure a minimum of downtime and fast resolution of any problems.
· Provide a source of advice to managers and staff on information technology issues.
· Maintain an awareness of new developments in information technology and ensure that the company makes the best use of any such developments.
· Respond to enquiries from staff to help them resolve any hardware or software problems.
· Support users in the use of computer equipment by providing any necessary advice training and advice.
· Arrange for external technical support where problems cannot be resolved in –house.
· Recommend suitable software and hardware systems where these might improve performance.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: AED4,000.00 per month
