  • key responsibilities

    Job summary:

    The primary purpose of the Learning Developer role is to design and develop engaging learning materials for Next Gen eQMS Program which aims to implement Source QMS, the new electronic Quality Management System, and retire TrackWise (old system).

    The role focuses on creating online modules and other digital content to ensure that the company’s personnel impacted by the digital transformation have the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to fulfill their job responsibilities in accordance with quality standards, guidelines, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.

    The Learning Developer collaborates with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to design the training materials, coordinates implementation through the Learning Management System, and evaluates the effectiveness of the training programs through surveys.

    Major responsibilities:

    • Collaborate closely with subject matter experts to assess learning requirements and establish clear learning objectives.

    • Develop engaging, interactive, and user-centric online training modules utilizing Articulate 360 (Storyline, Rise) along with voiceover, system simulation, video, and other relevant multimedia elements, while applying e-learning best practices.

    • Take ownership of assigned modules, ensuring end-to-end development aligned with agreed-upon learning deliverables. Proactively identify and address potential risks, escalating them as necessary.

    • Coordinate with the Learning Operations team to plan and execute the launch of trainings within the Learning Management System. This involves setting up scheduled offerings, managing the target audience, and ensuring a seamless learning experience.

    • Provide support to Subject Matter Experts in creating classroom training materials, as required or job aids.

  • qualifications

    Degree:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree.

    Other certification:

    • Instructional designer skills.

    • Articulate 360 is a must: Storyline (triggers, layers, branching) / Rise.

    Competencies:

    • Demonstrates and applies good knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, e-learning, or computer-assisted learning methodologies.

    • Ability to analyze training audience and possess the skill to adapt training offering based on audience needs.

    • Must have the creativity to create visually appealing, user-friendly, interesting, and stimulating learning experiences for adult learners.

    • Proficiency in using e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise (mainly), or similar software to develop interactive online courses and modules.

    • Ideally good video editing and visual design skills, with experience using Articulate/snag it to screencast.

    • Ability to manage business stakeholders and challenge them about learning content and pedagogical approach.

    • Strong organization and planning skills, with the ability to work on end-to-end training development projects.

    • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and team members. This includes gathering requirements, providing feedback, and explaining complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.

    • Good working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint.

    • Good knowledge of English and fluently speaking & listening in English.

    • Autonomous, proactive, team player.

    • Detail oriented in delivering the highest quality content.
