Your role at Tumi: In this position, you will be a key consultant to the leadership team on all issues related to human resources and a partner to the HR shared services team on the execution of key initiatives.
Builds trusted relationships with the leadership team as well as key stakeholders across the organizationProvides day to day support to leaders on HR related mattersExecutes talent solutions that drive business objectives Manages organizational design and talent analytics across specific business unitsIn partnership with leadership, develops local initiatives that drive employee engagement, increase morale, improve workplace relationships, boost productivity as well as attract and retain top talentPartners with the HR shared services team on talent acquisition needs and manages the open roles processCoaches and mentors leadership team and employees as neededAssesses and anticipates human resources-related needs across specific business unitsCollaborates with department management on promotions, transfers, and new hiresExecutes workforce and succession planning processes across respective business unitsAnalyzes data trends and metrics to inform business decisionsConsults regularly with management and provides guidance when appropriateCollaborates with colleagues in the human resources department to develop programs and solutionsMediate and resolve employee relations issues; conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessaryEnsure regulatory compliance with legal requirements pertinent to the day-to-day management of employees; collaborate with the legal department when necessaryInterpret human resources policy to employees and company management We're excited if you have: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources Management, Organizational Psychology or related field3+ years' experience as an HRBP or HR ManagerPrevious experience in human resources, professional development and trainingCurrent, in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to human resources, employee management, federal and state employment lawsExcellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills Why you'll love working here: At TUMI, you'll find a dynamic working environment, joining a community where each team member is empowered with an entrepreneurial spirit.
